Thanksgiving holiday

He drove my daughter and me to my parents' home 350 miles away. We arrived Tuesday night. The next morning we went shopping. Not Christmas shopping. He was looking for an oversized coffee cup. After 5 stores he found one that was almost perfect. The handle wasn't quite right. He bought two; each a different color. He promised to move some of his other coffee cups out of the house and into the workshop. One is from Roman Nose Resort in Oklahoma. Another is from Cracker Barrel. I moved the black one to another cabinet. It was from a jewelry store. We won it in a birthday drawing over the radio. Anyway, at the third store I found a wooden box with a hinged lid and elephants on it. It's just about the right size. It was only $3. He liked it too!

metal band saw

Yes, it's been over a month. I'm glad someone cares. I've taken on some new responsibilities lately. His day off is Mondays, I work for $ for 2 hours on Tuesday m0rnings. I work for free on Wednesdays and Thursdays and work for $ on Fridays for 2 hours. Our computer was down for a while. My daughter is looking for a job. My son bought a 1966 Mustang to restore. I don't think he has the time or money for it. Anyway, Duane bought a cheap metal band saw and has been remodeling it to his specifications for two weeks. That seems to be all he does lately. But he plans to build a corner shelf for me. The electronic piano keyboard table he built for me a few years ago is beautiful so I know the shelves will be nice.
