long work days
He's on another four day stretch. Usually puts in 50 to 70 hours in four days. Then off three days. Takes him two days to recover. With this snow...who knows. He's playing more Uno with me. Used be just the best two out of three. He doesn't believe in playing games just for fun. He just humors me. We have 4 more episodes out of 39 of Sherlock Holmes to watch. Nine out of ten movies we rent aren't worth watching. Eight out of ten should have never been made.

Cold Water Dog
Sunday we went to Ft. Smith to hear Cold Water Dog play their Irish music. Came straight home because he wanted to get an early start on clearing trees under the electric lines. It's a quarter of a mile from the house to the county road. I help by dragging branches to the brush pile. He did that for two days then went back to work. I've hardly seen him; he's worked so much overtime. If he works overtime today, Saturday, he'll be staying home tomorrow. I feel like a hermit. Good thing my sister calls on Friday mornings.
