Life with Duane

We left for my parents' home on Tuesday. We stopped about halfway and I called my niece. She met us at a nearby truckstop and we bought her lunch. Arrived at my parents' about 3:00. My brother came over for a while. Wednesday we went to see the Harry Potter movie. Enjoyed it. We took my parents shopping. They don't drive anymore. Mom loved it. We took turns pushing her wheel chair. Duane made it fun for all of us. He bought a lot of stuff. At the next store I caught up with his purchases. I bought a CD. Thanksgiving morning 8 of us met at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Then back to the house to prepare Thanksgiving food. Four more family members showed up; including my 4 year old great-nephew. We all went to my brother's for the Thanksgiving meal. About 3:00 Duane and my brother-in-law went to see Zithura. We left my parents at 7:00 p.m. Got a motel room in Norman because we had to be in Noble the next day to visit my second cousin up from south Texas. Got home Friday in time to spend about an hour with our daughter. She went to work. We went to see Chicken Little. It was fun. My sister and other niece couldn't make it to our parents' until after we left. Her son-in-law is in Iraq. We hope to see him in January.
