Life with Duane

He seems to have fixed the leak in the radiator. I thought he would do some tractor work next but he wants to replace the old seat with the new one. Still got to put the cover back over the engine though. Our daughter is here the next two days so he might not work on the tractor at all.

He was in the workshop as usual working on his tractor. I was doing housework. Finally put some towels in the dryer and decided to lie on the couch until the dryer stopped. Pulled the warm, soft, pink blanket over myself. I heard him come in the front door. Thought I heard lunch-making noises. Don't remember anything after that. When I did get up he was gone and the dryer was still running. Thought I must not have slept very long. Then I saw the folded towels on the clean table. There was one dirty knife by the sink. And the new piece of cotton fabric I'd put in with the towels to shrink was spread neatly on the back of a chair. I went to the shop. He had made himself a sandwich and folded a few towels. He said that the other towels were still damp so he started the dryer again. I told you he was near perfect.
