working overtime
He has had to work so much overtime lately, but he still has a cheerful attitude. He's applied for a different job that we are hoping will be better. He got off on time yesterday and met me at the church. We were going to visit the nursing home together but he got paged before I got off. I visited alone but he was home when I got home. Hurray!
